There was a roof installed at the British Museum around the year 2000 covering over what was before an outdoor courtyard. Its a beautiful covering of triangle shaped glass. There is a probably a common term used in architecture for it that Im not aware of, and indeed it may be a very common kind of roof, but it was the first time I had seen something like it. I was really amazed by it. Anyway, here is a section of the roof. Because its a detail of the roof, it comes off kind of abstract, but that's okay, I like that. Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi
